After 4 long years, I am happy to say I have completed my Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I wrote my registered nursing exam yesterday (I hope with success), and in 4-6 weeks I should know if I am a fully qualified RN or not. How do I think I did? Um...I have no idea. It wasn't easy, that's for sure, and I had great difficulty studying for it. It was just one of those things you couldn't really study for. I spoke with many others who felt the exact same way. You could study for weeks and still see things on that test you never came across in your text books; plus I think it was a little beyond entry level. But it is done. I won't dwell. Now all my free time at home can be spent doing what I love--writing!

As I posted recently, my YA paranormal BLOOD, SHE READ will be published by Etopia Press this fall. I am so excited. My editor is all kinds of awesomeness. She is like chocolate with a heart beat. And she really likes my book. She thinks it's awesome and cool! And she's not related to me! I have to pinch myself every time I think about this, because I never thought the day would come when someone would tell me I was good enough to be published. I mean, I hoped for it, but I never really thought it would come. Truly. Now I am waiting for my first round of edits. I told her to be brutal. I hope she is. Last week I saw a mock for my cover, too.... Squeal!!!!!!! I wish I could share. It isn't final yet, but I'll be sure to share when it is. And maybe it will coincide with a giveaway. Perhaps someone out there might like a free print copy of my book when it becomes available? Hmm...maybe....I hope so.

At any rate, I am spending the day immersed in my sequel. Happy hump day!
